If you are ever in Amsterdam, you are very welcome to visit our office! A beautiful location near the heart of Amsterdam alongside the canal named Kostverlorenvaart.

The Kostverlorenvaart was dug in the fifteenth century and is still being used to carry goods across the water, a feature that other canals of Amsterdam have lost. Recreational ships, boats and yachts now use this connection between the circular canal of the Haarlemmermeer and the IJ, a part of the ‘Staande Mastroute‘ a common route across the Netherlands for large sailing ships.

Between the 17th and 19th centuries there were many (saw) mills on the Kostverlorenvaart. Of those there is still one remaining, named ‘Mill the Otter’. This windmills type is a rarity in the Netherlands with only 5 remaining and it is the oldest of its kind. And… it serves as a beautiful backdrop at our training location!
